1933 – The first projects

C.E.M.E.S. was born in Sapri as the sole proprietorship of Salvatore Madonna. He begins to carry out electrical and civil engineering projects when a large part of the Italian railway network is not yet electric.

1955 – From Sapri to Pisa

With the new headquarters in Pisa, the company continues to grow and starts working on the first projects for the electric railway, becoming one of the most versatile companies in the field of maintenance.

70’s – Different yet complementary offices

The company expands into new sectors: residential, hospital and hotel developments along with metal and steelwork carpentry. New offices are opened as a result.

Today – A thriving organization

C.E.M.E.S. is now a well-established company with 500 employees, a manufacturing plant and headquarters in Pisa, as well as a factory in Fauglia (PI) which deals exclusively with our operations in the electric power distribution field, plus two offices in Slovenia and Romania.
