C.E.M.E.S. S.p.A. has been working in the rail infrastructure sector since the 1950s, after twenty years of experience in electric power distribution and civil engineering at a time when the Italian railway network was not yet electric.

We specialize in the electrification of railway lines, in civil engineering projects and railway network infrastructures, as well as the renewal of contact lines for railway electric traction. In addition, we deal with electric lighting and motors, tunnel safety, signaling systems, substations, and electrical cabins. In our many years of activity, we have contributed to the maintenance and construction of contact lines for over 2,000 km.

Our clients include R.F.I., Italferr, Ferrovie Emilia-Romagna, Ferrovie Nord Milano and Metropolitane Milanesi. In order to meet the needs of the largest clients in both the public and private sector, we have obtained certifications that attest to our sustainable practices and the most up-to-date RFI qualifications, in addition to the qualification to carry out electric traction works for unlimited amounts.
