Renovation and completion of the electric traction adaptation for the Roma-Firenze Direttissima line

Scope

Renovation and completion of the electric traction adaptation to upgrade the technology of various sections on the DD Roma-Firenze line.

Commissioned by:

Rete Ferroviaria Italiana S.p.A

Installation of the new OMNIA type suspensions inside and outside the tunnels as well as the removal of the supports previously installed;
Renewal and increase of the contact line tension; consolidation of damaged bases; reinforcement of the lattice portals frames, as necessary and as stated in the executive project;
Pre-consolidation of tunnels and tunnel joints, where necessary, to achieve the appropriate electrical safety parameters;
Adaptation of the network capability system.
